Students of the Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology (TRKI) Study Program, Vocational School of Universitas Diponegoro, once again made the university proud at the national level. The TRKI team won the Grand Champion title at the National Economic Events X Edutalk Fair Competition 2025, held at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. In addition to the main award, they collected several other achievements, including a Gold Medal, Bronze Medal, two Best Idea awards, and Best Poster, officially placing TRKI SV UNDIP as the overall winner of this prestigious event.
The team’s innovation addressed the global issue of food safety by developing an eco-friendly bioindicator to detect food quality. This breakthrough integrates food technology with sustainability, reflecting the competition’s theme, “ASEAN Economic Renaissance.” Their work highlighted that vocational students are fully capable of competing with leading research universities by creating practical and impactful solutions to real-world problems.
This remarkable achievement was the result of the hard work and dedication of team members Maya Qisthina Gaissani, Sigit Pramana, and Femas Wisnu Abby. From developing ideas and writing the scientific paper to presenting in front of the judges, they carried out the process with commitment and determination. Their success was also supported by the guidance of lecturer Yusuf Ma’rifat Fajar Azis, S.T., M.T., and the encouragement of Head of TRKI, Dr. Mohamad Endy Julianto, S.T., M.T., who consistently motivates students to excel at the national level.
The victory stands as a source of pride for SV UNDIP and an inspiration for other students to pursue innovation and excellence. More than just medals, this achievement symbolizes the commitment of the younger generation to contribute positively through knowledge, creativity, and sustainable technology. With this accomplishment, TRKI SV UNDIP reaffirms its position as a leading vocational program that is competitive, innovative, and actively contributes to addressing industrial and societal challenges.
