Semarang, June 1, 2025 — To prepare students for the increasingly competitive challenges of the working world, the Association of Chemical Engineering Technology Students (HMTKRI) of the Adikara Kovalenta Cabinet, Vocational School of Diponegoro University, held the TRKI Career Preparation Training 2025. This event will take place over two days, from May 31st to June 1st, 2025, in classrooms A3.1 and A3.2 of the Vocational School, starting at 07:00 WIB. With the theme “Unleash Your Potential for a Brighter and Competitive Future,” this training is designed comprehensively to equip students, particularly the 2021 cohort, with practical skills and strategies for entering the professional world. This activity is organized as part of academic and organizational responsibility to support the readiness of TRKI graduates to face the dynamic developments in the industry.
Experienced Speakers from the World of Industry
This event features an experienced professional, Dr. (candidate). Ir. Jahnawi Tri Wasisto, MBA, ACC, ICF, who currently serves as CEO & President Director at PT Elnotech Mubarac. With a background as a licensed engineer and certified professional in management and international coaching, Mr. Jahnawi shared valuable insights on the importance of self-development, adaptability, and strategic career planning.
During the session, he shared real-life experiences related to the challenges faced in the workplace, common mistakes in creating a CV, and tips for success in interviews and the recruitment process. Additionally, Mr. Jahnawi also emphasized the importance of soft skills such as communication, leadership, and critical thinking as key to long-term professional success.
Practical and Relevant Training Sessions
This training includes various interactive sessions, such as how to create a professional CV, sharpen career goals, job interview simulations, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and light psychological tests. Participants are asked to bring their laptops and power outlets, as well as their previously prepared CVs, for analysis and evaluation with the facilitator.
This activity not only provides technical training but also space for personal development. Students are taught to recognize their potential, understand industry needs, and prepare concrete steps toward the world of work. As a form of appreciation, the committee provided e-certificates to all participants and offered the opportunity for personal mentoring sessions with the speakers.
Even more excitingly, the top five participants will receive an exclusive opportunity to attend four private mentoring sessions with Mr. Jahnawi, who will provide personalized guidance on more focused and sustainable career development.

The Head of the Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology Study Program, Mohamad Endy Julianto, S.T., M.T., gave a welcome speech and expressed his support at the opening of the event. In his speech, he emphasized that the readiness of graduates is not only measured by technical skills, but also by their ability to face industry dynamics with the right strategies.
In addition, the TRKI Student Affairs Lecturer, Yusuf Ma’rifat Fajar Aziz, S.T., M.T., was also present to oversee the event. He stated that this program is part of student development aimed at producing vocational graduates who are ready to work and able to compete in various industrial sectors.
