Shervaya Latiffa, a 6th-semester student in the Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology (ICET) program at the Vocational School of Diponegoro University, has been known as an active figure since the beginning of her studies. He has been involved in various activities, from organizations and committees to internship programs and competitions, which have helped him hone his skills and broaden his experience in his field.
One of Shervaya’s significant achievements is her role in the Vocational School Student Executive Board (BEM) as the Treasurer for Student Welfare for the 2022-2023 term. Additionally, Shervaya is also active in the Association of Chemical Engineering Technology Students as a Junior Staff Member in the Field of Interests and Talents, where she supports the development of students’ potential in the arts and sports.
Shervaya also achieved outstanding results in the fields of entrepreneurship and research. He successfully secured funding from the 100 Young Entrepreneurs of Vocational Schools program, a competitive initiative that supports the development of student businesses. Not only that, but along with the lecturers from the Vocational School, Shervaya received Research and Innovation Funding for Advanced Indonesia (RIIM) from BRIN, which will fund the research project for the next three years. Shervaya also successfully obtained Intellectual Property Rights, namely Copyright for Strengthening Community Superior Commodities 2023 (EC002023102917) and Copyright for Bioavtur Based on Used Cooking Oil Thru a Nano Bubble Ozonolysis Reactor (EC002024211478).
In the last two years, Shervaya has also successfully obtained prestigious funding from the Directorate of Vocational and Professional Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture, for community service, namely the Village Community Empowerment Program (P2MD) 2023 and the Ormawa Program for Building the Nation (POMN) 2024. P2MD was carried out in Losari Village, Sumowono District, where Shervaya and her team implemented a community empowerment program based on simple organic waste processing technology. Meanwhile, the POMN was held in Sepakung Village, Banyubiru District, with a focus on technology training and local economic development. This success demonstrates his dedication to empowering rural communities thru innovation in biobriquette production and cooperation among residents.
Not only excelling in organizations and service, Shervaya also made a name for herself in prestigious training and competitions. In 2024, he participated in Aspen Hysys Training, a program that strengthened his skills in the field of industrial chemical engineering. Shervaya also won awards as the 2nd Place Runner Up and Favorite Winner in the National Business Plan AGRIDATION 2024 competition organized by IPB University.
Currently, Shervaya is undergoing an internship at PT Pertamina Marketing Operation Region III, specifically in the Reliability and Project Development function. In this position, he is directly involved in various development projects and ensures operational sustainability in the energy sector. This experience further enriches Shervaya’s insights into the professional world.
