Endy stated that the students attending the PKKMB were selected from the many prospective students interested in joining the TRKI Study Program at the UNDIP Vocational School. Naturally, the new students are very grateful and proud to be part of the TRKI Study Program at the UNDIP Vocational School. Reflected in the faces of the new students, full of cheerfulness and joy as they look forward to the future.
The PKKMB event was lively and full of camaraderie, making the freshmen appear happy. Being a student and pursuing higher education is one of the important phases in life for achieving one’s dreams, said Endy. This PKKMB activity is designed so that new students can get to know academic activities more closely and meet other students who will be their classmates, both within the same department and from other faculties. Thus, it is hoped that new students can socialize well, a sense of togetherness among students can grow and develop, which will ultimately create a conducive academic life on our beloved campus where new students will be attending lectures later, Endy said.
Endy also added that students are expected to be agents of change, drivers, and pioneers in generating various solutions to the nation’s problems. The key to solving these problems is education that impacts the quality of Human Resources (HR). If our human resources are highly competitive and we are able to manage our natural resources ourselves, Indonesia will become a respected developed country. This PKKMB activity that has been carried out is an initial effort and step in forming a positive character for navigating academic and non-academic life at TRKI, Vocational School, UNDIP. Higher education, as part of the national education system, plays a strategic role in educating the nation and advancing science and technology to increase competitiveness in facing globalization in all fields. New students will become good individuals with noble character, mastering science and technology as well as competencies. They will undoubtedly become future leaders of the Indonesian nation who respect others, have good integrity, a strong work ethic, and a spirit of mutual cooperation, concluded Endy.
