Semarang–28/06/2023, Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology Department, Vocational School of Diponegoro University welcomed Mr. Khairul Sahidun (Assistant HR Manager), representatives of PT. Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia. This visit was a follow-up to the campus recruitment agenda which held at Undip previously.
On this occasion, representatives of PT. Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia had a direct discussion with the Head of Department, Mohamad Endy Yulianto, ST., MT. along with the team. The focus of the discussion is related to the development of human resources based on oleochemical technology at PT. Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia. Currently, the Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology Department, Vocational School of Diponegoro University has implemented oleochemical technology in its curriculum. This is required by PT. Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia. Mohamad Endy Yulianto said, “we are very grateful for this visit, and are ready to collaborate with PT. Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia to prepare human resources according to industry needs”. The discussion ran warmly and was followed by the initiation of the establish of a consortium between the Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology Department, Vocational School of Diponegoro University and PT. Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia. With the formation of the consortium, the implementation of link and match is very wide open and provides multiple effects on development for both parties.
Currently, PT. Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia is a company under Unilever Global’s supply chain and focuses on meeting the needs of raw materials (Oleochemical-based products: Fatty acid, Glycerine, Soap Noodle, Natural surfactant) from palm oil. Currently, PT. Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia is developing several manufacturing plants to support the unit’s efforts.
