Currently, we are entering the pos-pandemic era since COVID-19 outbreak in 2020. Now the world has begun to carry out the economic activities as usual. Many industrial companies are starting to seek and recruit the new employees. However, as we know, the job recruitment now is very competitive. To apply a job, we need certain soft skills and hard skills. In addition, the ability to expose one’s potential is also very much needed. Therefore, the Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology Student Association of Diponegoro University Vocational School held a workshop Powerful Resume & Job Interview Workshop.
The workshop was held two days on Wednesday and Thursday, August 10/11, 2022 and started at 07.00 until 16.30 WIB. The training consisted of several sessions and the session that the participants were most interested in was the counseling session. After participants obtained the material and insight related to making a resume, participants are given counseling facilities by resource persons regarding the resume that has been made. 110 students from Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology joined this workshop.
There were two experts who lead this workshop: Mr. Jahnawi Tri Wasisto and Mr. Bambang Setijo Boedhi. Mr. Jahnawi is trainer with more than 20 years expertise in professional company and he is an alumni of the Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology Study Program, Vocational College Universitas Diponegoro. There is no doubt that the knowledge he provides is very useful and insightful. We hope that the participants have the readiness and picture of the world after graduated from Diponegoro University. In addition, the TRKI’s students are also able to present themselves well and informatively when making resumes and job interviews. That way they will be more easily accepted in the industry they dream of.
