Shervaya Latiffa, a sixth-semester student in the Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology (TRKI) program at the Vocational School of Diponegoro University, has been highly active since the beginning of her studies. She has participated in various activities, including organizational roles, committees, internships, and competitions, which have helped her sharpen her skills and broaden her experiences in her field.

One of Shervaya’s notable achievements is her role as the Treasurer for the Student Welfare Division of BEM Vocational School for the 2022-2023 period. She is also actively involved in the Student Association of Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology, where she serves as a Staff Member for Talent and Interests, supporting the development of student potential in arts and sports.

In addition to her organizational work, Shervaya has made significant strides in entrepreneurship and research. She was selected for the 100 Young Entrepreneurs Funding Program at the Vocational School, a competitive initiative aimed at supporting the business development of students. Moreover, together with faculty members, Shervaya secured funding for the Research and Innovation for Indonesia’s Advancement (RIIM) program from BRIN, which will support their research project over the next three years. She has also obtained Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), including a Copyright for Strengthening Community’s Leading Commodities (EC002023102917) and a Copyright for Bioavtur from Used Cooking Oil Through Nano Ozonolysis Bubble Reactor (EC002024211478).

Over the past two years, Shervaya has successfully received prestigious funding from the Directorate of Vocational and Professional Higher Education, KEMENDIKBUD, for community service programs such as the Village Community Empowerment Program (P2MD) 2023 and the Student Organization Program for Nation Building (POMN) 2024. The P2MD project, carried out in Losari Village, Sumowono District, focused on empowering the community through simple organic waste processing technology. Meanwhile, POMN, implemented in Sepakung Village, Banyubiru District, concentrated on technology training and local economic development. These achievements highlight Shervaya’s commitment to empowering rural communities through innovations like biobriquette production and collaboration among residents.

In addition to excelling in organizations and community service, Shervaya has also participated in prestigious training and competitions. In 2024, she attended the Aspen Hysys Training, which enhanced her expertise in industrial chemical engineering. Furthermore, she achieved the 2nd Place Runner-Up and Favorite Winner award in the 2024 National Business Plan AGRIDATION competition, organized by IPB University.

Currently, Shervaya is interning at PT Pertamina Marketing Operation Region III, in the Reliability and Project Development function. In this role, she is directly involved in various development projects, ensuring the sustainability of operations in the energy sector. This experience further enriches her professional perspective.
