Semarang – Najwa Putri Indira Kusuma, a third-semester student in the Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology program at Diponegoro University, has demonstrated her dedication through various activities spanning communication, leadership, and community service. With unwavering passion and commitment, Najwa proves that students can create meaningful contributions across multiple fields.

One of Najwa’s notable achievements is her role as Master of Ceremony (MC) at the 2024 Vocational School Anniversary Celebration at Diponegoro University. With confidence and excellent communication skills, she successfully created a lively and memorable atmosphere during the event. She has also explored voice-over work, lending her voice to numerous events and creative projects, paving her way in the world of communication and organizational involvement.

Her leadership journey continued when she was appointed President of the Industrial Chemical Engineering National Competition (ICENC) 2024, a prestigious national competition organized by HMTRKI. Under her leadership, more than 100 students from various universities across Indonesia participated in the event. Moreover, ICENC 2024 gained support from prominent companies, elevating the competition’s status as a highly regarded event among Industrial Chemical Engineering students.

Beyond academics and organizational work, Najwa was also involved in the 2024 Student Organization Program for Nation Building (POMN) supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. This initiative focuses on empowering communities, and Najwa, along with her team, successfully secured funding to implement programs with a positive social impact, such as waste management training and economic empowerment using simple technologies.

Najwa also held the title of Tourism Ambassador for Boyolali 2022, a role that had her actively promoting local tourism and cultural heritage. Through this position, she aims to inspire youth to preserve and celebrate local traditions.

“Every experience I go through—be it in academics, arts, or community service—is a valuable learning process. I hope these small contributions can benefit those around me and motivate other young people to keep creating,” Najwa said.
