Semarang – Najwa Putri Indira Kusuma, a third-semester student from the Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology Study Program at Diponegoro University, has demonstrated her dedication thru various activities in the fields of communication, organization, and community service. With strong spirit and commitment, Najwa proved that students are capable of making a real impact across various fields.
One of Najwa’s notable achievements is her role as Master of Ceremony (MC) in the 2024 anniversary celebration of the Vocational School at Diponegoro University. With confidence and good communication skills, he successfully created a lively and memorable event atmosphere. In addition, Najwa also honed her skills in the world of voice-over, becoming a voice actor for a number of events and creative projects, paving her way in the world of communication and organization.
His career continued to flourish as he was entrusted with the role of President in the 2024 Industrial Chemical Engineering National Competition (ICENC), a prestigious national competition in the field of Industrial Chemical Engineering initiated by HMTRKI. Under his leadership, over 100 students from various universities in Indonesia participated in this competition. Not only that, ICENC 2024 also successfully attracted the attention of various major companies to become main sponsors, making the event even more prestigious.
Beside being active in the world of organizations and academics, Najwa is also involved in the Ormawa Membangun Negeri (POMN) 2024 program supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. In this community empowerment-focused program, he and his team successfully secured funding and implemented activities such as waste management training and community economic empowerment thru simple technology.
Najwa also held the title of Boyolali Tourism Ambassador in 2022, where she actively introduced the beauty and cultural richness of her region’s tourism. Thru this role, he is trying to encourage young people to participate in preserving local culture.
Every experience I’ve had, whether in academics, the arts, or service, has been an incredibly valuable learning process. “I hope this small contribution can benefit those around me and motivate the younger generation to keep creating,” said Najwa.
Najwa Putri Indira Kusuma is living proof that students are capable of contributing more than just to the academic world. He hopes his story and steps can be a source of inspiration for other young generations to continue creating, innovating, and contributing to the nation’s progress.
