The Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology Study Program (TRKI), which is administered by the Diponegoro University Vocational School (UNDIP), has recently successfully concluded the reaccreditation process by the Independent Engineering Accreditation Institute (LAM). This activity is a critical component of the study program’s endeavors to guarantee that the education provided is in compliance with the quality standards established by the national accreditation agency. The objective of this accreditation process is to evaluate and guarantee that the Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology Study Program has complied with the quality standards established by LAM Teknik. The objective of this accreditation is to assess the academic accomplishments of study programs and to promote ongoing enhancements in the quality of education, facilities, and curriculum.
This accreditation process includes a series of phases, beginning with the compilation of the necessary documents, including self-evaluation reports, study program performance reports, and other supporting evidence. An assessment team from LAM Teknik conducted a field visit to the Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology Study Program, UNDIP Vocational School, following the preparation and submission of all documents to LAM Teknik. The assessor team assessed laboratory facilities, administrative support, the quality of lecturers, and the curriculum during the field visit (27–28 June 2024). Additionally, they conducted interviews with lecturers, students, education staff, alumni, and alumni users to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the study program.
The accreditation procedure by LAM Teknik is a critical milestone in the Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology Study Program, UNDIP Vocational School, as it strives to enhance the caliber of education it offers.
